Saturday, October 1 - Culture Days - Shorts for Short People | St. Claire Silverthorn Library

In collaboration with Culture Days and the Neighbourhood Arts Network, Toronto Public Library hosts over 80 Toronto-based artists and arts organizations in a celebration of arts and culture at library branches throughout the city of Toronto. aluCine Toronto Latin Film & Media Arts Festival presents Shorts for Short People at St Clair Silverthorn Library.

aluCine Toronto Latin Film & Media Arts Festival will be screening a selection of short animated films from Latin America and around the world. These shorts feature the best in animation, fiction and claymation, bringing children messages of hope through stories about the origin of the world, magic, the environment, adventure and fantastic tales from entirely different cultures. Recommended ages: 5-12, but let's be honest, these shorts are for tall people too!

Live translation will be provided as needed.

There will be several sittings of the program taking place at:
12noon – 1pm (includes Q&A)
1:30pm – 2:30 (includes Q&A)
3:00pm – 4pm (includes Q&A)
