JONBENET REQUIEM: AN AMERICAN PRAYER - Performance
Ulysses Castellanos (Canada)Jonbenet Requiem: an American Prayer is a video triptych/performance art piece that collides the transcripts of interrogations conducted by the Denver Police on John and Patsy Ramsey with footage from American films, voyeuristic footage, “amateur” video, art brut and the music of seminal Japanese Noise sensation Massonna. The performance aims, through an extreme collision of iconography, to disorient, disturb and enlighten.
