The aluCine Film+Media Arts Festival is looking for volunteers for our 18th Annual Festival, OCTOBER 3 – 6, 2019 in Toronto. Have fun, gain experience and see best in Latin American films for FREE!
As a non-profit organization and registered charity, we rely on the support of volunteers. Volunteering is fun and provides valuable experience and the opportunity to meet key players in the industry while supporting a community arts organization.
In addition to joining the amazing aluCine Film+Media Arts Festival team all volunteers who complete their 4 hours are rewarded for their hard work with:

Bartending (must have Smart Serve certification and be 19 years old or older)
The aluCine Film+Media Arts Festival also has opportunities for dedicated volunteers who want to make a greater time commitment to a particular department or initiative of the festival. This is a great way for students or inexperienced workers to gain training and on-the-job experience in a mentoring environment with aluCine’s staff.
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers for a flexible time commitment of approximately 20-30 hours in September/October 2019, preparing for and participating in the Festival. The available opportunities include:

All volunteers should be 16 & up. Grade 11 & 12 students can count volunteering towards CAPP hours.
All aluCine Film+Media Arts Festival Volunteers are required to volunteer a minimum of 4 shifts/hours. Volunteers will be required to attend one orientation and may be asked to attend mandatory meetings or training sessions prior to the Festival depending on the department they are assigned to.
